Hi Gia,

I totally agree with this beautiful letter.  You make a difference in each and every child's life you teach and that is what you should remember.

God Bless You my friend
Lizl

Hi Gia

I too, was totally shocked when I read the email you sent out yesterday.

As you know, our daughter went through a traumatic time at a dance studio
before joining Pulzation, so bad that she would not even dance in front of
anyone anymore. I was concerned about this going into the competition, but
with your total love, devotion and support of her, she went into the
competition, and PLACED in the pairs section! She did not expect this at
all, never mind the beautiful gifts she received when entering the venue!

She now dances around the house, and is loving every minute of it. She has
a new found confidence, and that is purely thanks to YOU, GIA!!!!!

The event on Saturday was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Unfortunately we had to leave
just after the first prize giving (at about 5pm) so we did not get to see
the end of the event. But, if we did not have another function to attend,
we would have stayed to the very end.

The venue was fantastic, the décor was beautiful, the gifts were so special,
and personal. I challenge any parent to put together an event like you did
on Saturday. SO WHAT if it went on a little longer than expected, is it not
the child's happiness that matters at the end of the day? Did the children
enjoy it? Absolutely, my child cannot stop speaking about it. Did the
parents enjoy it? Well, I can honestly say that WE THOROUGHLY enjoyed it!

It must be an amazing feeling for you, sitting up there, watching all those
girls, and thinking "I am responsible for this - I taught them all these
routines, I have stuck with them through thick and thin, and I believe in
them - look at what I have achieved". Let that feeling stay with you, and
not the negative responses you have been receiving.

Gia, from my entire family, I cannot thank you enough for all that you do
for my little girl. Even at your busiest time last week you were willing to
give her an extra lesson. I know that you did not really have the time, and
you were totally exhausted, but I just want you to know how much we
appreciate it.

You have given her a new start to her dancing life. I would personally like
to offer my full services to you for your next function. I would love to
help in any way, shape or form. I cannot help with the dancing
(un-coordinated person that I am) but I can certainly help with logistics,
printing, documents, organisation. It would be an absolute honor.

I would find it so sad if you did not hold another studio competition next
year, only due to a few bitter people.

Thank you, once again, for a beautiful competition on Saturday. We truly
feel blessed to be a part of your school, and have you in our lives.

God Bless.

Hi Gia,

I totally agree with the mother who sent you the email, my girls have been in your studio just over a term and they both made the semi-finals what does that say for the work you put into these kids.

Let the other parents have their winge and moan you carry on the good work.

Regards
Ruth Bentz

Hi Gia

It is a pleasure, you have done a lot for Zoe and we will always remember that.

I am sorry but it sad if you always have to look at the negative things in life and always complain about everything!

Be strong and keep your head high, there is nothing wrong with your teaching skills & capabilities.  I have mentioned to you before that Bev Hammond has commented that your dance technique cannot be faulted.

I trust that the moaning mothers will feel ashamed of themselves once they have read the email from the mom.

Remember that Zoe & I stand by you, so do many others.

Love
Anita

Hi Gia,
Thank you so much for all the effort you put in ˆ it is clear that you love dancing, and above all, that you love the kids.
It was a long day, but worth every minute.

GROOT DANKIE!

Ida Mac Donnell

Dear Gia,

Thank you so much for a wonderful competition on Saturday. It was exceptionally well done and the girls had an absolute ball. We notice and appreciate your special commitment to dancing and our girls and the love for dancing which you allow to grow in a professional yet enjoyable way.

Thanks again - and you deserve a good rest!!

Love Cleone

Dear Gia

I have just been able to read the newsletter and the email from an appreciative parent.

I, too want to be added to the list of parents who are appreciative of your efforts. You do this …… and all because you get joy out of seeing the sheer happiness, joy, delight at remembering dance steps, etc, etc, (I could go on and on) on the faces of OUR children.

THANK YOU GIA!!

Dear Gia,

I second the letter complimenting you, thank you for a lovely day my two girls loved the day and all the gifts etc, even though my one daughter did not make it to the finals enjoyed the day explicitly and yes its part of a learning curve.

Gia you do a fantastic job in teaching the girls and all your children love you and are grateful to you, maybe the parents should ask their children if they enjoyed themselves before complaining.

People are the most ungrateful creatures as we are never satisfied with what we have until we loose it.

THANK YOU GIA

Cherees Gotte

What a beautiful email. I fully agree with her! I can't say enough how
much we love and appreciate everything you do Gia.

Love
Amber

Gia you one in a million and we love you

Have to agree with the below two parents.
It was an awesome day and the kids had fun. Its all about them anyway!
Gia ˆ you have done an amazing job and you should not let anyone tell you differently.
People that point a finger to anyone else are the ones with the issues!

Have a great day!

Hi Gia,

I absolutely second every word this mother wrote, who ever she is please
thank her from me too!!

We have only been with pulzation for a year, and with great sadness in our
hearts have to leave as we are relocating to Cape Town, I can only pray we
find a dancing teacher half as dedicated and special as you are, my
daughter
adore you and so do I, you are so gifted, and should never consider giving
up what you do!!

Lots of Love
Tanya Loxton

Dear Gia,

As you already know, I wouldn’t too much about what the parents say, because the day is about the children and that is what really matters.  Yes, the event might have been a bit long (but from what I could see it really couldn’t have been helped and I know how much time and effort it takes to plan an event like this one), but like a few of the parents have already stated, it is only one day of the year and it is fun for the kids.

So, I guess what I am trying to say is that don’t get desponded because of what the parents are saying, but think of what and how you feel when you teach the kids, because in the long run, they are the ones that count.

One more thing, one of my sisters did ballet ( and is still doing it today), and in all the competitions that she has done, she said that she has never been to such a classy and fancy competition before and I have to say that I was also very impressed.  So well done and keep it up.

May God continue to Bless you in your teaching.

Many Thanks!!
Gaenor

Hi Gia

From us (the Koopal’s), thank you, thank you, thank you,  for Saturday.  It was a fantastic day and the children thoroughly enjoyed it.  They were exhausted afterwards as I am sure you were!

Just want you to know that we know this is always very tiring and trying for you, but it is not in vane!  The children and many parents will remember these days forever, thank you, you are an angel!

Love
Amber

Dear gee

Itis Liza and Kaylin here at school... we're thinking of you and I really
miss you and all the girls from the studio. Thanks for all the love, I'll
never forget any of you guys!!
Lotsa love Liza XX

My dearest gee!
Im sure you going through a hard time at the moment with Marcel leaving our family of Pulzation.

I just want you to know im here for you and always will be.... I would love to always be a part of the studio and help out where i can. My dream when i was younger was to be a dancing teacher and inspire others how you have inspired me over the years...And i thank you for giving me that dream!

Although years have past and things have changed,Your love for dance has never faded. You touch our hearts in such a special way that will never be forgotten.

You have never just been a dancing teacher you have been a friend and motivator, And thats what i value most about you.
Thank you for always being there.

Love you always and forever
Your dancer and friend
Dani

Thanks Gia

Lastly but most importantly (as we sometimes neglect to say “Thank you”), I have to compliment you on the way you teach (only saw Saturday a bit). Nicole absolutely loves dancing and a different teacher with a different way to teach may have disillusioned her. She is an extremely introverted child if she does not take to a person, but she loves you and the dancing, so well done and thank you!!!
